These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Little Hero Lab and the purchase of personalized digital products through our website.
By placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About Little Hero Lab
Little Hero Lab is operated by Eduards Ševčenko, a self-employed individual registered in Latvia (“Little Hero Lab”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
Little Hero Lab creates personalized digital products in which a child becomes the illustrated hero of an adventure.

Little Hero Lab offers personalized digital products created using information and photographs provided by the customer.
Our current Coloring Book product includes a personalized digital PDF containing 20 coloring adventures created around the selected child, interests, world, theme and visual style.
Product features, formats and prices displayed on the website may change as new Little Hero products are introduced.
The product is supplied digitally. No physical product is included unless a physical product is specifically stated on the product page.
3. Personalized and AI-Generated Content
Little Hero products are individually generated using artificial intelligence.
Because AI-generated content is unique and may contain natural variations, we cannot guarantee:

An exact photographic likeness of the child

Identical results between different orders

Exact reproduction of clothing from the reference photograph

That every generated illustration will perfectly reproduce every facial or physical detail
The child's clothing, pose, surroundings and other visual elements may be adapted to the selected adventure.
Minor differences and normal artistic variations are part of a personalized AI-generated product and are not considered defects.
4. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that the information submitted with your order is accurate.
When uploading a child's photograph, you confirm that:

You are at least 18 years old

You are the child's parent, legal guardian, or otherwise have the necessary authority to provide the photograph and information

You have the right to upload and use the photograph for creation of the personalized product

The photograph does not violate another person's rights

The information you provide is appropriate for creating the requested product
Children should not place orders or upload personal information directly to Little Hero Lab.
5. Photographs and Personal Information
Photographs and personal information supplied for personalization are handled according to our Privacy Policy and Photo & AI Policy.
Purchasing a Little Hero product does not give us permission to publicly use your child's photograph or personalized product for advertising or promotional purposes.
Any such use would require separate permission.
6. Prices and Payment
The applicable price is the price displayed on the website at the time the order is placed.
For example, the current personalized Coloring Book may be offered for €12.90, subject to the price shown at checkout.
Payment must be successfully completed before production begins.
Available payment methods are displayed during checkout and may be provided by third-party payment processors.
Where applicable, taxes will be handled according to applicable law and the information shown during the purchase process.
7. Order Processing
After successful payment, the Little Hero generation process begins automatically.
Because every product is created individually, generation time may vary.
Most orders are expected to be completed within a short period, but processing may take longer due to:

Other technical circumstances outside our reasonable control
A displayed or estimated generation time is not a guaranteed delivery deadline unless expressly stated otherwise.
8. Digital Delivery
Completed digital products are delivered electronically, typically through a download link sent to the email address provided with the order.
You are responsible for providing a valid and accessible email address.
Please contact us if your order has been completed but you have not received access to your product.
9. Download and Storage
Download links may remain available only for a limited period.
Customers are responsible for downloading and safely storing their completed product after delivery.
We recommend saving a copy of the PDF to your own device.
We do not guarantee indefinite storage or permanent access to previously generated products.
10. Personal Use Licence
Unless otherwise stated, Little Hero products are provided for personal, non-commercial use.
You may:

Download your purchased digital product

Store it on your personal devices

Print copies for the child, family or personal use

Reprint the coloring pages for personal use
You may not, without our permission:

Resell the digital product

Sell printed copies
-
Distribute the files commercially

Upload the product to digital marketplaces

Present Little Hero content as your own commercial product

Use Little Hero products to create competing commercial products
11. Intellectual Property
The Little Hero Lab name, branding, website design, product structure, templates and other original business materials remain the property of their respective rights holders and may not be copied or commercially exploited without permission.
You retain the rights you have in photographs and other original material that you provide to us.
Your purchase gives you the personal-use rights to the finished product described in these Terms.
12. Technical or Generation Problems
If a technical error prevents your product from being generated or delivered, contact us at:

Regenerate the affected product

Provide a replacement download

Issue a refund where the product cannot reasonably be provided
Normal artistic variation in AI-generated content does not by itself constitute a technical defect.
13. Personalized Digital Products and Cancellation
Little Hero products are personalized specifically for the customer and digital production may begin shortly after payment.
Where applicable under consumer law, certain rights of withdrawal may be limited for goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized.
For digital content supplied without a tangible medium, additional rules may apply regarding the start of digital performance and the consumer's right of withdrawal.
Where legally required, we will obtain the customer's express consent or acknowledgement before beginning digital delivery or performance where this affects the statutory right of withdrawal.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Refunds
Because each Little Hero product is individually generated, refunds are not automatically available simply because a customer changes their mind after personalized production has begun.
However, we will assist where:

The product was not delivered

A serious technical error occurred

The purchased product could not be generated

The delivered file is unusable due to a technical defect

A refund is otherwise required by applicable consumer law

15. Prohibited Use
You may not use Little Hero Lab to submit:

Illegal content

Abusive, exploitative or harmful material involving children

Photographs you are not authorized to use

Content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights

Content intended for fraud, impersonation or other unlawful activity
We may refuse or cancel an order where use of the service violates these Terms or applicable law.
Where an order is refused before a personalized product is provided, payment will be handled in accordance with applicable law and our Refund Policy.
16. Availability of the Service
We aim to keep Little Hero Lab available and reliable, but uninterrupted operation cannot be guaranteed.
The service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, third-party AI services, hosting providers, payment systems or other technical circumstances.
We may modify or improve the service and product features over time.
17. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, Little Hero Lab is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
Our service is intended for personal entertainment, creative and educational use and should not be relied upon for professional, medical, legal or other high-stakes purposes.
18. Consumer Rights
If you are a consumer in the European Union or European Economic Area, you retain all mandatory consumer protections provided by applicable law.
These Terms do not remove or reduce rights that cannot legally be waived by contract.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Latvia, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections that may apply under the laws of their country of residence.
Disputes should first be raised with us so that we can attempt to resolve the issue directly.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions when our products, services, prices, technology or legal requirements change.
The version applicable to an order is generally the version in effect when that order is placed.
